Smartphones are indeed very popular. Mobile applications or apps play a major role in the popularity of smartphones.
Not many years ago, enterprise mobility is limited to checking emails. Today, with the advances of modern computing power, wireless networks and a number of new mobile devices, enterprise mobility is not anymore limited to checking emails. Nowadays, enterprise mobility extends to any tasks conceivable. Tasks that can be done in the office or at home can now be done via smartphones.

According to the recently released Evans Data Corp.’s Mobile Development survey, 75 percent of the companies surveyed are building mobile applications to be used by in-house staff and consumers.
